Score 8.5/10. Currently my favorite fragrance. After its bright citrus opening, this softens to exactly the delightful, musky fragrance you often get from Creed. I currently use MI from 2015 and its longevity is so amazing- it is 12+ hrs, while 2017 version I have, becomes skin scent after 2 hrs! Add Creed Aventus for Her EDP 75ml to wishlist. It’s a pleasant scent don’t get me wrong. So does the Commodity, Maison Margiela have the same fresh fragrance? If anyone is selling a bottle from 2014 or 2015 in the UK, please message me. This is a really nice unisex citrus-freshie! The smell is yummy and addicting; i would consider this a date night fragrance when you want to escalate things. Sadly, nothing to blow your mind in the scent, i was hoping for a more impressive effect. Millesime Imperial is one of the most interesting fragrance in it’s genre. Commodity Gold is more vanilla-y and reminds me of passing by the ice cream parlor as they're making sugar waffle cones. Longevity and silage for such an expensive scent is kinda shocking. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed. It's a near miss from being brilliant, I've reassessed it a few times and always come back to the same conclusion. The fragrance takes a moment to kick in, the iris is the floral and powdery note that projects during the opening, the citruses, and fruity accords are noticeable as well but these are all very soft accords. Stop giving them your money and maybe you'll see the change as they'll have to change if they want to keep being "Luxury Brand". Smells fantastic, performs horribly. I suspect Creed has changed the formula of this perfume; so no more Millesime Imperial for me anymore. To be clear, the new formulation is the only one I've ever smelled. If you can get a genuine bottle at a discount it’s worth it to have as it’s a nice but relatively short lived scent. I don't really have a most worn fragrance, I wear everything in my collection, but I do have some fragrances that get worn more than the rest. I wish I could have a few favourites and stick to them. This is not luxury, this is Creed being a thief. I can't recall where I heard the phrase "as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle", but that is the perfect description of what Millesime Imperial is without clean skin. It sounds good on paper but it translates into something quite average on my skin. You will actually smell the salt, citrus and woody notes as it brings you to a tropical island. It starts off with a combination of fruits, sea salt and aquatic notes. Similar longevity, but less sillage for me than SMW. Fresh and fruity. I just restocked as I run through it so quickly.
